Mr.
Carroll
has
served
on

State
Young
CPA
Board

past
3
years,
serving
as
President
of
that
Board
for
the
last
2
years.
During
his
tenure
the
Board
has
spoken
to
over
10,000
students
across
the
state
about
career
opportunities,
hosted
an
annual
charity
golf
tournament
which
has
increased
its
profits
by
over
50%
and
is
currently
promoting
a
statewide
book
drive
which
will
benefit
the
Alabama
Boys
and
Girls
Club.

Carroll
is
an
audit
manager
at
MDA
Professional
Group,
P.C.
in
Huntsville,
AL
specializing
in
the
areas
of
construction,
employee
benefit
plans,
manufacturing,
and
government
contracting.

Williamson
elected
Chair
of
the
AICPA

senior

in

on
being
elected
Chair
of
the
American
Institute
of
Certified
Public
Accountants.
Jimmy's
inaugural
speech,
given
at
the
Fall
Meeting
of
Council
in
Las
Vegas,
emphasized
the
importance
of
increasing
the
level
of
financial
literacy
in
America.
Entitled
"A
United
Profession,
Takin'
Care
of
Business",
his
speech
also
addressed
diversity
in
our
country,
and
the
CPA
profession's
commitment
to
"clearing
the
career
ladder
for
anyone
who
has
the
ability
and
determination
to
climb
it".
Jimmy
is
a
member
and
past
president
of
the
Alabama
Society
of
CPA's.
In
addition,
he
previously
served
on
the
governing
council
of
the
AICPA
as
a
representative
of
Alabama
and
on
the
Board
of
Directors.
He
has
also
served
on
the
AICPA
National
CPA
Vision
Team,
and
is
a
strong
promoter
of
the
360
Degrees
of
Financial
Literacy
Campaign.
Jimmy
will
serve
a
one
year,
voluntary
term
as
Chair
of
the
AICPA.
