
Chuck
Adams
joined
the
Huntsville
office
of
MDA
Professional
Group,
P.C.
as
an
audit
supervisor
in
1977
and
became
a
shareholder
in
1981.
He
is
chairman
of
the
firm's
Accounting
and
Auditing
Committee
and
is
in
charge
of
accounting
and
auditing
for
the
Huntsville
office.
Chuck
previously
served
as
an
audit
supervisor
in
the
Huntsville
office
of
Ernst
&
Whinney,
where
he
worked
for
six
years.
At
MDA,
Chuck
specializes
in
the
areas
of
construction,
utilities,
manufacturing,
local
governments
and
not-for-profit
organizations.
He
was
in
charge
of
the
special
work
performed
by
our
Huntsville
office
for
the
Madison
County
Circuit
Court
regarding
one
of
the
largest
securities
frauds
in
Alabama
history.
Chuck
is
a
member
of
the
American
Institute
of
CPAs
and
the
Alabama
Society
of
CPAs.
He
currently
serves
on
the
Alabama
Society
Peer
Review
Committee
and
as
Chairman
of
the
Education
Foundation,
and
previously
served
as
a
member,
Treasurer,
and
Chairman
of
Council
for
the
Alabama
Society.
Chuck
served
as
President
of
the
Alabama
Society
of
CPAs
for
the
2005-2006
year.
In
addition,
he
has
served
on
the
Auditing
Standards
Committee
and
Accounting
Principles
Committee.
A
native
of
Sheffield,
Chuck
received
a
B.S.
degree
in
accounting
from
the
University
of
North
Alabama.
He
and
his
wife
Brenda
have
two
children,
two
grandchildren
and
are
active
members
of
Trinity
United
Methodist
Church.
