David
L. Harwood, CPA, is an associate and shareholder with MDA Professional
Group, P.C., in the Gadsden office. He joined the firm in 1996,
and has been in public practice for over thirty-five years. He
specializes in business engagements and consulting, tax compliance,
consulting and planning for corporations, trust, estates, partnerships,
and individuals.
He
is a member of the firm's Board of Directors and
Tax Committee. He is a past President of the Alabama
Federal Tax Clinic, Inc., one of the oldest in the
country, and has served on numerous committees of
the Alabama Society of CPAs. He serves on many charitable
and religious boards.
He
is a graduate of the University of Alabama with both a Bachelor
of Science degree in accounting, and a Master of Business Administration.
He is a member of the American Institute of CPAs and the Alabama
Society of CPAs.
He
and his wife, Susan, reside in Gadsden, Alabama and are members
of Congregation Beth Israel.
