Larry

Gilley,
CPA
is
an
associate
and
shareholder
with
MDA
Professional
Group,
P.C.
He
joined
the
firm
in
1977
with
the
opening
of
the
Huntsville
office
and
has
been
an
important
part
of
our
significant
growth
in
Huntsville.
He
is
currently
chairman
of
the
firm's
Operations
Committee,
a
member
of
the
Tax
Committee,
and
a
coordinator
of
the
tax
efforts
of
the
Huntsville
office.
Before
joining
MDA
Larry
spent
seven
years
with
Ernst
&
Whinney,
beginning
in
the
audit
area
and
later
moving
to
the
tax
department.
Today
Larry
specializes
in
taxation,
with
emphasis
in
real
estate
development
and
syndication,
tax
planning
and
valuation
for
closely-held
businesses,
and
individual
tax
and
estate
planning.
Active
in
the
accounting
profession,
Larry
is
a
member
of
the
American
Institute
of
CPAs,
the
Alabama
Society
of
CPAs,
the
Alabama
Tax
Clinic
Committee,
and
past
chairman
of
the
Huntsville-Decatur
Chapter
of
CPAs.
He
is
also
a
member
of
the
Huntsville
Chamber
of
Commerce
and
past
president
of
the
Huntsville
Business
Club.
Larry
is
a
graduate
of
Auburn
University.
He
and
his
wife
Frances
have
two
children
and
are
members
of
Whitesburg
Baptist
Church.
