He
is

graduate
of
Samford
University.
In
1976,
he
returned
to
his
hometown
of
Athens
to
continue
his
public
accounting
career.
Lyn
is
a
member
of
the
American
Institute
of
CPAs,
and
the
Alabama
Society
of
CPAs.
He
is
involved
with
various
civic
and
charitable
organizations
in
Athens,
including
United
Way,
CASA,
Ducks
Unlimited,
American
Heart
Association,
Boy
Scouts
of
America,
and
the
Athens/Limestone
County
Chamber
of
Commerce.
Lyn
also
serves
on
the
First
American
Bank
of
Athens
Advisory
Board.
Lyn
and
his
wife,
Jane,
reside
in
Athens
and
have
three
children.
He
is
a
member
of
First
Presbyterian
Church
of
Athens.
