Mark A. Phillips, CPA

Mark A. Phillips, CPA, is an associate and shareholder with MDA Professional Group, P.C., and has been with the firm for nineteen years. He is responsible for quality control in the audit and accounting area for the Albertville, Fort Payne, and Gadsden offices. He specializes in auditing, tax and financial planning, business, trust, and individual taxation, estate planning and small business consulting, and audits of governmental municipalities and utilities.

Phillips serves on MDA Professional Group's Audit and Accounting Committee, which is responsible for setting standards and procedures for the firm's audit and accounting practice.

He graduated with distinction and special honors from Jacksonville State University with a Bachelor of Science degree in accounting. He is a member of the American Institue of CPAs, and the Alabama Society of CPAs. He also serves as Treasurer of the Boaz Rotary Club and Treasurer of Leadership Albertville.

He and his wife, Joan, and their daughters, Jennifer and Ginger, reside in Albertville, Alabama and are members of Bethany Baptist Church.
